Which driver (Video or 3D Stereo) do I install first?

The nVidia drivers must be installed in the following order:  nVidia Video card driver, reboot, nVidia 3D Stereo driver, shutdown, install hardware, boot machine, configure 3D glasses and test

Do I need to download any updated driver software?
No.  Use the included nVidia CD-ROM.  It contains certified drivers for both the video card and the glasses.

Also, you must be running DirectX version 8 or higher.

Do you need special games to make the 3D work
No, any game which uses Direct3D or OpenGL will display in 3D.

Can I watch Movies in 3D using these glasses
The 3D glasses package does not come bundled with 3D movie viewing software. The software is available from several other vendors and can be purchased separately.

Will they work with my TV or LCD monitor
No, the glasses are designed to be used with a PC monitor (CRT). There is no support included for using these glasses with any other video device.

Can I use these with my Playstation, Xbox, Dreamcast, Gamecube, Mac, Etc
No, the glasses and supporting software and hardware are designed to be used with a PC.

How do I use multiple sets of glasses on one machine
The wired version of the glasses will only work one pair per CRT.
The wireless glasses support multiple pairs used simultaneously with one CRT.

Can I wear the 3D glasses over my prescription glasses
Yes. The wired 3D glasses will fit over glasses and are adjustable in the following ways:
- each eyepiece slides in/out of the flexible headband to allow for smaller/larger head size
- each eyepiece is hinged on the side to allow it to flex into the proper viewing position
- no connector is in the front which allows the glasses to fit any size head, the glasses actually rest over the ears and not on the nose

Troubleshooting - Symptoms and Solutions

The image through the glasses appears blurry or dark
- Remove the protective plastic film from both sides of each lens.

There is an "ink splotch" on the lens OR lens appears cracked
- The LCD has been damaged, please contact us for procedures on obtaining a replacement set of glasses.

Only the right lens works
- The plug on the back of the headset is most likely not pushed in all the way.  It is a snug fit ? be sure it is firmly plugged in.

The goggles won't shutter OR only one lens shutters
- Check that I/O switch on line cord is turned on
- Check that line cord is inserted properly and completely into receptacle on goggles
- Check dongle connections per wiring diagram

The monitor is blank
- Check connections for monitor and be sure connections are tight
- Check mode setting
- Press M button until in proper display mode
- Check Graphics Adapter Refresh Rate
- Right-click on the desktop, select "Properties"
- Select "Settings Tab"
- Click "Advanced" Button
- Click "Adapter" tab
- Change "refresh rate" in pulldown menu to the highest allowable setting - preferably above 100 Hz, or select "Adapter Default" if no other choice is available
- Check dongle connections per wiring diagram

- Press M button until in proper display mode
- Adjust Gamma setting: CTRL-G to increase Gamma, ALT-G to decrease Gamma

Nothing looks 3D
- Check that I/O switch on line cord is turned on
- Toggle Stereo on/off by pressing CTRL-T
- Check Graphics Adapter Refresh Rate
- Right-click on the desktop, select "Properties"
- Select "Settings Tab"
- Click "Advanced" Button
- Click "Adapter" tab
- Change "refresh rate" in pulldown menu to the highest allowable setting - preferably above 100 Hz, or select "Adapter Default" if no other choice is available
- Be sure Stereo 3D driver is loaded and configured. See "Stereo Properties" for details
- Run "Stereo Setup & Test" or the "Medical Test Image" from the Stereo Properties tab to verify the glasses are functioning

Stereo 3D seems to cause eye strain
- Check that that left/right eye dominance is set correctly: press "R" button on line cord to adjust
- Adjust stereo separation: use CTRL-F3 to decrease horizontal separation, CTRL-F4 to increase horizontal separation

How do I find "Stereo Properties" tab OR tab doesn't appear in the Display Properties
- Right-click on desktop
- Select Properties
- Click on the "Settings" tab
- Click the "Advanced" button
- Pick the "Stereo Properties" tab
If the tab isn't visable make certain that display driver version and stereo 3D driver versions are the same. See "updated driver software" links above to download correct version.

I'm having trouble installing the Wicked 3D software from the CD
The Wicked 3D Software is for non nVidia video cards and is no longer supported by the manufacturer. Please see the "updated driver software" section above and download the nVidia drivers appropriate to your version of Windows.

How do I setup, calibrate, and test the 3D glasses
All setup and calibration is performed through the "Stereo Properties" tab:
- Right-click on desktop
- Select Properties
- Click on the "Settings" tab
- Click the "Advanced" button
- Pick the "Stereo Properties" tab
This tab controls all Stereo 3D settings and also allows basic testing to be sure the glasses are functioning. You can click on the "Stereo Setup & Test" or the "Medical Test Image" buttons to view sample animated and still 3D images.

I can't find the Serial Number for software installation
The serial number is on the blue tractor feed slip with the 4 stickers on it (roughly 1" X 4"). It's loose inside the package and contains 4 stickers each with the serial number on it.
